Satoka's introduction

     I was born in Niigata. However, I grew up in Nagano until I was 5 years old. Recently I was graduated Niigata commercial High School this spring and now I am belong to Univercity of Niigata Prefecture International Economics depertment. Also, I met a wide variety of students at UNP and I was exposed to the idea of multiple perspectives. As a result, I realized that it is important to be conscious of having a broader mindset in learning, so now I try to be aware of that.

     I started warking part time job this summer vacation. There, I serve food and make drinks. It is a nice workplace because I see  thier happy faces when I serve food for customers. In addition, we can come into conert with music and traditional performances in my work place. So I can often hear the sounds of wonderful instruments and songs. What impressed me the most was the concert by Aoi Tejima. Her clear high piched voice is very buautiful, and I was impressed it when I listen to "Teru-no uta". Because I was often listen to this song when I was child.


     My goal from now on is to get a driver's license. And I have something I want to do once after I get license. It is travel to places rich in nature in various places in Japan. For example, terraced rice filds, bamboo forests and snowfields. This is because I was impressed by the beautiful scenery of Niigata's rice paddies, and I want to go to more japan places full of nature when I was in elementaly school. Also I want to expand my world by talking to the people who live there.

 Hello, I want to talk about a cute gift for new year!        Recently, I found cute card! It is 50th anniversary card for the Hakusan park. And it is interesting, because there are flower seeds inside the flower decoration on the card! Futhermore, flower seeds are included it randomly, so we can not know the type of flower until it blooms. So, I want to have exciting time until flower blooms. Also, I almost slipped on the ice on the saidwalk in this week morning, and it was scary! However, I like ice skating, so I want to go to ice arena in this spring vacation! [Unit Project 2] Hand play: Make a frog face

What did you do when you did not have any tool to play with your friends? I think one answer is to play tag or chatting with friend. However, to play with hands is easy and exercises your hands and brain and good way to get along for friends. Examples of famous hand games in Japan are "Chatsubo'' and "Temple monk'' and so on. These are games where you use your hands while singing songs.  Playing with your hands is one of the good ways to deepen your friendship with your friends. ［Unit Project 1］My Artifact Changed Me

       My artifact is a bear plush toy. Its color is brown, and he dressed in purple overalls. It has yellow suspenders, and its button is different colors on the left and right. The right is blue, and the left is green. And his size is about 20cm. He has no mouth, but he has eyes and nose. Also, his ears are asymmetrical. The left ear is slightly tilted. On his neck has marks of repair caused by deterioration over time. The front is reinforced with white thread, and the back is reinforced with white and black thread. His left leg is marked with a hoarse tag. It states that he is sold by SEGA and not sold to the public. Also, his name is Piny Mu. It is a character created in 1987 by San-x corporation.
